For my 5th story, I traveled across the country to go to California's Disneyland.
This was a terrible assignment...NOT!
I had always been "pro Disney World" since it's in my hometown, but once I went to the one in California, my opinions had changed. Although I originally liked how Florida is much bigger, I enjoyed California's smaller size because we accomplished so much more in a shorter amount of time.
We only had 6 hours there so I was quite busy trying to interview workers as well as customers, while still trying to see every ride and attraction before we left.
Interviewing the workers at Disneyland was incredible. I had some of the best interviews/discussions for this story. Everyone was genuinely enthusiastic about their job and answered all of my questions with pride and excitement.
When I saw my article and my pictures in the center of the newspaper with 2 WHOLE PAGES (ahh!), I definitely did the happy dance :)
