4th Story: Overcoming My Fears

For my fourth story, Sabira and I chose to overcome our fears and undertake the zip line adventure at Central Florida's Zoo in Sanford.

I've only been on one zip line in my life, but it was only about 50 feet long at a childrens gymnastic center. Going on a 500 foot one though...yeah, you can say that I was a little nervous.

When we first got there, we scoped the scene for photo opportunities and to talk with brave guests that were in the process of completing the course.

Nervously, Sabira and I got all geared up and went through the safety briefing. Then, we were put on the real "adult" course instead of the kiddie demo one. Dun dun dunnnn...

After finishing the first few tree challenges and zip lines like a champ, I started to fully enjoy the unique experience instead of freaking out with every step that I took.

I had a great time at ZOOm Air and I have recommended it to everyone that I talk to. I would have never gone to this place if it wasn't for writing about it in The Seminole Scribe and I am so glad that I did it.

I had a lot more courage than I thought!
